Mania United

Mania United is a community initiative that brings together people affected by bipolar disorder and mania through the power of football and shared experience.

What Is Mania United?

The idea behind Mania United is simple: football is one of the most powerful tools for mental health. It gets you moving, gives you a sense of belonging, and creates a space where you can just be yourself — without having to explain your diagnosis or justify your bad days.

I started Mania United because I saw first-hand how football helped me manage my bipolar disorder after being sectioned. Exercise, teamwork, and routine made a massive difference to my recovery. And I wanted to create something that gave others the same experience.

How to Get Involved

Mania United is still growing. If you're interested in getting involved — whether as a player, volunteer, or supporter — get in touch.
